When Calls the Heart Debuts the Third Episode of Season 3, Garnering A 2.1 Live+3 HH Rating

    The Series’ Newest Episode Becomes the Most Social Program in Network History

    lori jpgHallmark Channel’s original primetime series, When Calls the Heart, is going strong in its third season
    with the 3rd episode premiere garnering a 2.1 HH rating and 2.3 million total viewers, on a Live+3 basis.
    In its 9pm time period, the Sunday, February 28th episode elevated Hallmark Channel to be the 2nd
    highest-rated and 2nd most-watched network among HHs and Total Viewers. Additionally, the network
    ranked #3 among W25-54 rating in its 9pm time period.

    The episode made an impact on social media as well, with last weekend’s premiere becoming the most
    social program in network history, garnering the highest Tweets of any series, movie, or special premiere.
    Tweets increased 6% over the network’s previous social record holder for the When Calls the Heart
    Season 2 Finale. The 3rd episode was also the 2nd most-Tweeted series airing a new episode during
    Sunday Primetime across cable and broadcast television.

    The third season of When Calls the Heart continues on Sunday nights with a brand-new episode
    premiering March 6 at 9 pm ET/PT, 8C. In the episode, “Heart of a Hero”, after Hope Valley learns
    redemption is possible, Abigail (Lori Loughlin) and Frank (Mark Humphrey) pursue a romance before
    the heart of the town is tested by the threat of a gang of outlaws.
